When it comes to the holidays, Tradition is what we are all about here at Greencare. In this rapidly changing world there needs to be certain parts of life that we can count on not to change from year to year, generation to generation. In that spirit, here are our offerings for you holiday decorating and gift giving.

Poinsettias
These are Maine grown by the best grower we know and hand picked at the nursery for shape and quality. They are grown with a minimum of chemicals using biological pest controls. The box stores can't say that! They are available in many sizes from 4.5" minis to huge "Santa" size plants. Colors include red (of course), white, burgundy, and new and interesting forms such as Winter rose, Ice punch, Shimmer, Marble and more. Click here to see photos
All come with colorful pot wraps and hand tied bows in Christmas colors.

Wreaths, Fresh Greens and Trees

This year we are making most of our own wreaths, including Don's famous mixed greens wreaths with fir, pine, cypress, and juniper tips. Very different and beautiful. Other wreaths and garland are from our friends at Piper Mountain Farm in Newburgh. We will be offering some of their trees for sale here at the shop too in case you don't want to make the trip to Newburgh.

Holiday Cactus
They're not just for Christmas any more! These plants will bloom several times a year and will live for many years with minimal care. Colors include red, pink, lavender. There are a very limited number of a yellow flowered variety as well.
Living Christmas trees
For indoor culture we have 6" pot Norfolk Island Pines, Lemon Cypress and Rosemary in Christmas tree shape, all decorated for the holidays. If you are looking for a larger indoor tree, we have Norfolk Island pines about 4 ft tall with lights already installed.
